Our Approach

I'm Robin Moulfair.

As a member of the Girl Scout’s Order of the Red Flame, I was once given the Indian name Diligent Butterfly.  I’ve recently re-discovered how fitting that name is.  Diligent because I work hard at whatever I put my hand to, especially my clients; butterfly because I have experienced a time of cocooning and rebirth as a new creation.  It is that renewal that I want to help others experience.

While I am a new creation, my life is still often chaotic and messy but I know God and my husband both love me in the chaos and God’s grace keeps me balanced in spite of it.  I’m quirky, bold, klutzy, overflowing with God’s love, joyful, and above all transparent and authentic.

Our Story

My Story

I am a survivor of domestic abuse as well as deep hurt and trauma from within the Christian community. Despite this, I still love God with all my heart, mind, soul, and strength.  Because of this, I desire to help others strengthen and deepen their relationship with God and to help those who have also been hurt to reconnect to the God who loves them perfectly just as they are.

I remarried five years ago, after declaring I would never get married again.  My husband is a gift from God who loves me in all my craziness and has helped me to emerge from the cocoon I had wrapped myself in.  Together we have a built a life I could never have imagined.

I am an Army Veteran of fifteen years.  There are a few things I learned in the military that will probably never go away.  First, my motto is unless you’re 15 minutes early, you’re late.  Second, I just naturally speak loud and usually do not need a microphone!  Finally, no matter how many times my husband reminds me to slow down, I will probably always eat fast.  I have worked as a tax professional for over twenty years, and no, I don’t like math.  I like helping others. Listening to their stories has always been important to me.  As part of my renewal and rediscovery of myself, I have discovered a passion for ministry in various forms.

What I Do

I am a Spiritual Director, Christian Life Coach, and Youth & Spiritual Formation Pastor.  I am finishing my Master’s Degree in Spiritual Formation and Spiritual Direction from Evangelical Seminary in Myerstown, Pa.  I consider myself a practical theologian.  I can and will discuss theology with anyone who is interested.  However, I’m much more concerned with how our theology applies to being the hands and feet of Jesus in our daily lives.

I am intensely interested in helping others discover their worth, value, and identity as a child of God.  My husband and I are co-youth pastors, enjoy leading short-term mission trips, and are energized by both the youth in our ministry and our grandkids.  Additionally, I love leading and facilitating women’s retreats.  Finally, as someone in ministry and someone who has been hurt by the church, I have a heart for others in ministry.

“Rejoice always” - Joy and laughter are a natural part of every day.  We love to have fun and we never lose sight of how blessed we are to have found each other.  Life is a journey.  I would be honored to accompany you on your journey.
